The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee, Turnwold

My stay at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee was nothing short of amazing! The service was exceptional, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality shown by the staff. The location is breathtaking with views of the lake that made each morning feel special. Although the property showed some signs of age in the rooms, they were still very nice and provided a comfortable experience. This place is ideal for families, but be warned that it can get lively, especially in the club level lounge with children around.

Our stay was overall enjoyable with a lot of engaging activities and beautiful surroundings. The location provided breathtaking views and the facilities, especially the spa, were highlights of our trip. However, the family pool area felt a bit underwhelming, and there were moments of disruptive behavior that took away from the experience. While it’s pricey, the amenities available make it a place worth considering for special occasions.

Overall, my stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. While the accommodations were comfortable and the staff made remarkable efforts to provide service, the atmosphere can be overwhelming during peak family times. The location by the lake is exceptional, but the dining experience and setup of the room left some room for improvement.

Definitely a family-friendly environment, with numerous options for both relaxation and fun.
